Yesssss I love this! And it's absolutely true about the course, as well. That's why the first 1/3 of it isn't even about how to learn languages per se, but more about your own wants and needs 🙂

100000%! Good job intentionally not overdoing it though, I've definitely made that mistake before. It's super important to allow your language learning to ebb and flow with those fluctuations in energy, but also not allow them to dictate your language learning, you know?

The ability to understand the world from a perspective other than my own! I love the the relationships between history and language and people and culture, so when I can see how different historical events have affected language (like huge immigrations bringing languages together) I get so excited.

Usually when I'm feeling uninspired it's just a symptom of something else going in in my life - I'm stressed out, I'm tired, something like that. When I take a moment to assess my body/life as a whole that usually gives me an answer. And that usually means taking a break and not feeling guilty about it lol

I wish I had the ability to do more "fun" things when I'm like that. Maybe one day?
