Just the idea of packing up your entire life and moving to a new country with a new culture and a new language with no connections is a bit...daunting. I know. I've been there. Little ol' me, from a tiny Florida town nobody had even heard of, who had never even uttered a real sentence in Spanish. If I couldn't even get to the new Best Buy without a GPS, how was I supposed to figure out a new country? Did I mention I would be living in a new language that I didn't know?!

So yeah, I get it. You don't know how to even get there, much less live there. You want so badly to walk down cobblestone streets, order a beer in Spanish with confidence, and meet up with some Spanish friends. That's the dream, right? But it seems so far away!

Don't worry, I've got you covered.

Don't wait - get it now for $7!

Hey, I'm Jamie!

I always dreamed of traveling the world. When I finished college, I knew it was finally my time to dive in. With the little bit of Spanish I knew from high school, I decided Spain was the place to be! I committed to moving to Spain and spent the next year in Madrid teaching English in a secondary school, and that experience has been the most important year of my life.

When I started having friends asking me about my experience and how they could do the same, I kept getting the same questions over and over again. How much did I get paid? How did I find where to live? How did I even find the opportunity to travel to a foreign country and get paid!

After getting tired of answering all these questions all the time, I decided to put them all together. I answered all the questions I was ever asked, plus questions I had for myself at the beginning, PLUS unanswered questions I found floating around on the internet. I put all the answers together into this resource page.

For $7, You'll Get:

Thinking of teaching English? Or maybe you're more interested in becoming an Au Pair. Maybe you've never even heard of your options! I explain in depth how to find the job, get the job, and all the legal information you need when it comes to moving to Spain.

What's it like to live in Spain? How will you make friends? How will your life change? Can you make money on the side? Are you definitely going to learn Spanish? I tell you how to get the experience you're looking for, and give you tips to make sure you don't make any silly mistakes.

If you're like most expats, you're not moving to Spain to stay in one place. I tell you the best places to go in Madrid and throughout Spain - the cities to see, the experiences to take in, and the best way to get there.

Moving to a new country alone is scary! Don't worry, I've put all the connections you need to other expats, potential jobs, language exchanges, and more. Find people to not only be your friend, but also to help you reach your goals, whether they be extra money or a little Spanish help.
